Time graph for Tae Bo Funk
Billy is joined by his daughter in a playful program where everyone is just having fun — punching, dancing, showing off ... even doing the Limbo. These funky, dance-style movements are absolutely not the “same old Tae Bo” (as Billy says, “let’s loosen up and have some fun”). You still get Tae Bo’s legendary energy and enthusiasm; they’re just blended into slightly less “serious” workouts. The moves range from “speed bags” to cha chas, from back kicks to swiveling hips, from simple marches to “Vogue poses” and from upper-cuts to “Roger Rabbits.” Less intense — and definitely more entertaining — than his previous programs, this is the perfect addition to your Tae Bo collection. ©2008.

Tae Bo Funk

Oh my!
I agree with several others...absolute waste of time. This is NOT a workout. It's something you watch and grimace. There is no forethought or planned choreography and the moves make no rhyme nor reason. Most of the time everyone is just watching billy do heaven knows what. Not sure what he was thinking, but I don't think this was the original intention. Two tips...humility & planned workout. - posted by Shelley on 9/20/2008
Tae Bo FLOP!
I usually love Tae Bo but this workout is all about Billy showing off and also Shellie too. Its really hard to take serious. The workout didn't flow well and it was like Billy was making it up what he wanted to do. Even the background people were having a hard time following him. The work has alot of immodest pelvic thrusting and weird weird moves. There is hardly any punching or kicks. There was weird moves and even as strange contest between Father Billy and daughter Shellie. Just plain showing off. This wasn't a workout to me. The workout was just getting worse and worse and then at the end, he tears his shirt off and I could barely watch. YUCK! This workout should be rated PG. He then starts doing some Playgirl type dancing and pelvic thrusting. Sure the man is in top physical shape but give me a break. Does all the world need to see his pecs jiggling away. Its like he needed a bra. I almost turned it off because it became a look at me show at the end with everybody clapping and whistling. Even his speech at the end wasn't the same Billy. He doesn't seem that sincere or humble anymore. I would recommend The Ultimate Tae Bo which has the great Tae Bo style and gives you more bang for your buck. - posted by Samantha on 9/10/2008

A Fun Dance Party!
I LOVE this workout because it is FUN!!! It really works your core. You are getting a workout while having LOADS of fun, and learning some cool dance moves. I love the fact that none of Billy's workouts are choreographed. It makes the workouts and the people in them seem more "real" to me! Shellie, Billy's daughter GETS DOWN in this video. She's such a powerhouse and inspiration for all of us to follow! I enjoyed the fact that Billy and Shellie and the crew made this workout seem like a big dance party. This is a great workout for those days when you want to bring a smile to your face! What a great "twist" on working out! No pun intended Ha ha! - posted by Tasha on 9/6/2008
When you want to be silly !!
I've never done a TaeBo workout before this one because I just couldn't stand Billy Blanks voice and his lazy eye while watching his infomercials. Yeah it's petty, but found I could put up with him through this workout which turned out to be fun and silly. Shelly's incessant "1-2-3-4-hey-yes-sir" got on my last nerve !! Seems like Bily woke up one day, decided to call up some people, got a guy to roll tape and this workout was born. No choreography, just a jumble of moves, my heart rate went nowhere. But if you want to act silly and work up a little sweat, then this is the one for you. This stays in my "silly days" rotation, :) - posted by Annette on 9/5/2008
Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
